Yes is means ANK will use Lossy Audio by all Raws from now?if yes,it was very disappointed..and I never heard about Lossy Audio(AC3 or AAC..) can be better than Lossless Audio.If anyone thinking of the Lossy Audio will better than Lossless that I have some viewpoint of this.That must be some people are using very old PC or really bad speaker or got a ears problem.In Japan,there was so many Anime lovers

equipment of PC must be a lower spec.
And wants to share
in here that I know the reason of
some ppl why they are thinking of AC3 and AAC are the same or even better than Lossless.
First,the PC was a very lower spec as I said
above.Second,because of most Lossy audio
are louder than Lossless with the same
volume.This will make people misconception
to thinks lossy got a better sound.but the
truth is only louder(NOT BETTER).because
normally,lossless audio need a better PC to
play with than you can got a better quarity
of sound.Just like a some ppl playing 720p
got a better quality than 1080p.but the true
is not.Anyway,I hope ANK can take some ppl advice to put two audio track to you raws if
you to insist on AC3 are better...

回覆刪除I find it disappointing that lossy audio codes are used in some BDRips, too. But it would be strange to some people and inefficient if both FLAC and AC3 tracks with the "same content" are merged together. (FLAC of around 700-900kbps + AC3 of 640kbps, while the bit rate of a 2ch. 48kHz 16bit LPCM is around 1536kbps)
Most people would like to use either AC3 or FLAC, It means that someone may have to use MKV merging tools and delete one track for a more efficient size. However, only a few people used to do it.

For audio tracks, I think that the best way to reach the best quality is maintaining the original, which is equivalent to what Lossless codes do. What lossy codes does better than the counterparts is the reduction in size only. For those PC playing lossy AC3 better than lossless, sound effect enabled by the players or decoder may be the reason, which can be achieved by many alternatives(e.g. SW/HW upsampling, DSPs), it would not be a good way to use lossy codes that distorting the signal irreversibly. It would be a good news if ANK-Raws can use both FLAC/AC3 with raws, but is it really necessary to merge both FLAC and AC3 audio tracks together that the lossy one can be perfectly reproduced by the lossless counterpart?

Thanks for your information to explain the details of what is the difference between FLAC and AC3 and PCM but I already knew about this as I had playing Home Theater system for a very long times and I thinks you're just going a bit too far...and make it complicated.Me and coolerbaby had already said the difference between Lossy and Lossless(of course not the details like u) and I don't know why you boot up again?
I had the feeling that you're just showing your talented to ppl what is the Audio more than the other..(sorry if I was wrong but this is the feeling I got from u)
And we should not giving too much requests to ANK.As ANK already said they will keep using FLAC with raws and already fine.necessary or not necessary to merge FLAC and AC3 together just let them to design by themselves.Maybe some ppl like Lossy more than Lossless.Two tracks together can cares difference people needs.Of course,this is seldom people will do it..

but I already bought the BD-Box yesterday.Because I thinks this Anime was worth to keep in Blu-Ray disk.
I don't thanks FLAC will backed on this Anime and thanks ANK for that^^.As I already bought the BD-BOX of this but will take yours to play with PC.
